Its gamerankings score just has a review from Nintendo Power 5/10. Doesn't sound very good as Nintendo Power is notorius for overrating. Or is this a case of shootemups getting slammed just for being short? I was a huge fan of gigawing for the DreamCast yet it got slammed for being short.

Actually it's like a year - year and a half old Dreamcast game. It was okay but not brilliant according to those who played. It didn't get amazing praise on the DC because there are a hell of a lot better shmups out and it came out at the same time as Under Defeat which is supposed to be way better. The much superior 2nd game Karous was released on DC last month. Despite coming out at the same time as Trigger Heart Exelica, Karous is really holding it's own. The problem I have is that the d-pad on the GC kind of sucks.

[/QUOTE]"Kind of" sucks. Now, the Gamecube is my second favorite console of all time, but I think you're being kind there. The Gamecube d-pad basically doesn't exist.

I can't think of a single game in which I actually used the D-pad, and can only think of a very few that used the yellow analog.

The Wii compatible part of this title is referring to the Wii's backwards compatibility, just in case there was any confusion about Wii specific features of this GC game. Same thing as GBA games sometimes saying DS compatible in recent years.

I HAVE TO HAVE THIS GAME!!!
I didn't think another GC game would ever be made. Hell, mine hasn't been even turned on since November (Beat Pokemon Colosseum and haven't touched it since).

Mozart, you have never played PacMan Arrangement on GC? Also, if you ever have a bad camera angle, the C stick comes in handy.
