I wish it wasnt coming out for the Wii... Then again the wii desperatly needs games for it for it seems to have a rather lack luster future...

I'm sorry, which reality are we speaking of?

Hey, You can have your rehash of Gamecube titles! Fine by me! Id rather save the money and just buy a game cube!

Anyway, I really need to obtain a copy of the First NiGHTS so i can see what the fuss is all about...

I am really interested though and i have obtained a Sega Saturn and i hope to make the best of it

Well I am glad we have your permission.  In any case, concentrating on only those games that meet with some kind of inane but convenient criticism you've latched onto after your trip to fanboysville won't do much to further your shallow point either.

Oh, M0tzart how can i be a fanboy when i have not yet labeled myself with a favorite company?

Your using the word wrong! I have not yet professed that i love sony, sega, or microsoft consoles!

Instead i critiqued a console and i am labeled a fan boy? Do you even know what a fan boy is?

Your A silly goose!

If "NiGHTS 2" is released for the Wii I'll buy a Wii to play it.  I've never bought a game system to play a single game, but if there's a game that will get me to do it it's this one.  Of course then I'll have an excuse to buy a few more Wii games to justify the expense (i.e. the two golf games already out for the system).

You don't have to.  You just have to say obviously untrue things in an attempt to malign a company.  Whether you are a Sony or Microsoft fanboy is to be determined.  What is clear is that you are at least acting like an anti-Nintendo fanboy.

And how do I know that?  I own most of the major games for the Wii.  Only a few of them were also on the Gamecube.  They don't even add up to the number of games that are simultaneously released for the PS2 and PS3,the XBOX and 360 in its first year, and practically every other system their property could be milked on.  Again, if you want to make a criticism that is worth making, you can just say you don't like the games in question.  They don't "speak" to you, or whatever.  Instead, you just picked a coloquial criticism that is thrown around by haters who never investigated whether the criticism holds any water in comparison to other systems.

Interesting.  Name one Gamecube "rehash" on the Wii.  Then tell me why you are excusing all the "rehashes" on the 360 and the PS3.

im not worried about a lack of software on the wii, if it continues to sell this well, publishers follow install bases.

what worries me, is the wii is going to be a dumping ground of shovelware

I'm gonna have to also disagree with the prediction that the Wii has a weak lineup.  Its all relative to what you want.  There are new games announced pretty much every week and the 3rd party support is coming out of the woodworks.  I'm not saying any system has a better lineup, because its all based on taste.

Personally I played the hell out of the Wii from Nov- Jan.  Then it kinda of sat there for a while.  My PS3 saw lots of play time as did the 360.  Now my Wii has taken over.  I recently took a chance of some recently released titles and it paid off bigtime.

Tiger Woods is absolutely decimating my free time.  I can't put that game down.  People constanly want to play it and I just can't say no.  Its like vidoegame crack to me.

This passed week I picked up The Godfather: Blackhand Edition.  Thats another rock-solid game on the Wii.  The game is made 10x better than any previous GTA clone simple because of the immersive controls.  I had serious doubts about this game, but I can't stress enough how great it feels to grabs someone and punch them in the mouth.  Its one of the best single player games on the system and if you missed out on it last gen, I implore you to give it shot on the Wii.  After enjoying this game so much I have high hopes for Scarface as well.

I agree with Rob that Heatseekers looks like tons of fun.  Super Paper Mario looks too good to be true and the Virtual Console games keep coming.  Summer is looking dry, but thats the same for all three systems.  The fall looks just as bright for the 360/PS3 as it does the Wii.

In Jan-Feb I was having some doubts about the Wii's staying power, but the simple fact that I can't wait to get home to play it speaks volumes about it.
