Check it out...
http://kotaku.com/gaming/nights/nights-sequel-confirmed-247480.phpThe article doesn't specify which system the game is for, but its a pretty safe assumption that it will be coming to the Wii.
Thoughts, comments?

I wish it wasnt coming out for the Wii... Then again the wii desperatly needs games for it for it seems to have a rather lack luster future...

I was looking at EGM for the games of 2007, and pretty much the only high quality games coming out for the Wii were Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Metroid, and Super Mario Galaxies...
Personally, Those games dont appeal to me at all so this isnt in my dreams but in my Reality!
But NiGHTS appeals to me for i hear its one of the greatest games of all time!
I really need to get it for my Sega Saturn

Not having games that appeal to you is not equivalent to having an abysmal future, your reality notwithstanding.

Ah, there's that "intellectual pong" (-;
In this case, I agree with m0zart's serve. The upcoming Wii library is growing rapidly, with new titles being announced literally by the week.
To think that only Nintendo made games will be noteworthy simply means you don't read enough gaming websites (and therefore don't keep up with release date announcements). Shoot, EA's steller efforts alone (one of the real surprises of this generation) with Madden, SSX, and Godfather should be enough to sate those tired of Mario and Link in the short term.
Heatseeker, coming out in May in the U.S., already got a very positive review from IGN's UK office. That game looks crazy fun.
Plus, don't forget we are going to see some really interesting efforts from Square Enix. Could Dragon Quest Swords finally deliver the promise of real sword control on Wii?
That notwithstanding, Nintendo's lineup looks like a dynamo. Critics are already calling Super Paper Mario "the best Mario game ever" and that's not even Nintendo's PRIMARY Mario effort on Wii....

I'm with you Johnny even though I am tempted to get a Wii just for Zelda and Mario Galaxies. I don't mind getting it just for 2 games.

Oh, phooey. Let's leave all the Wii arguments out of this page. It should be a place of happiness. New Nights! Come on people; lose the anger!

We don't even know for sure yet that it's for the Wii.

Personally, after watching some of the gameplay videos, I'm more excited about Super Paper Mario than anything.
I think it is almost certain that Nights will be on the Wii. It just seems like you could do some great stuff with the Wiimote on that game.
