Technical Difficulties

My host lost a few disk drives and it took my site with it.

Hopefully it will be back soon. Here's what I got emailed from OLM:

The physical server where your VPS is hosted experienced failure with 2 of the hard drives in the RAID array. This affected the backup drives as well unfortunately. We have been working on recovering data from the failed drives as well as the backup drives for serveral hours but have determined at this time that we are unable to recover data. We are in the process of rebuilding the VPS and will send you the login information at this email address so that you can upload data from your backups. We apologize for this inconvenience.

That sucks big time. I hope they didn't lose any of your review content. Do you have that stuff backed up anywhere?

Thanks for saying this. I thought I was having problems with my internet as I can't access www.videogamecritic.net I had to access the forums directly, I hope everyone else knows how to.

Anyway, good luck getting your site back up. I dont know what a VPS is (I must be stupid), But if you are having trouble restoring your backup drive, web.archive.org has a copy of your website. It is really outdated and slow as hell, but you can use it as a last resort in restoring your website The last update of your website they did is April of last year

PS. its saying it isn't accepting my posts. Im sorry if I double or even triple post. Please just delete any dupe post if there are any. I think this new image verification thing is causing problems.

Just heard from m0zart about the problem. A huge sux0rs!!!

I'll be looking forward to the restoration of the best game review site on the internet, and I'm glad the best community of gamers on the internet can still use the forums.

Come to mention it, there is something strange...omigod it IS AWFUL! TERRRIBLE! Oh GROSS! IT..it.. oh, it's just my reflection in the screen.
