JLH, this is a stupid question I know, but how do you buy games from Good Deal Games? I saw it on the critic's link page, but when I go to it I can never find any list of games for sale. Is there a link I'm missing when I go there?

[/QUOTE]

Nope not a stupid question at all.  GDG has a wonky system to buy things.  First go to this link....

http://www.gooddealgames.com/ForSale.html

To get to the above link you have to click on the for sale/trade tab.  Its located on the top right section of the home page.

From there you can click on what system you want to browse for.  What makes GDG different is that they don't have a "cart" system.  Rather you have to email the owner what game you want.  I have dealt with them several times and the owner (I think his name is Mike) is a real great guy.

They also ship things super fast.  Maybe because they are located in New York and I'm in Rhode Island, but most orders only take 2 day to arrive.

I hope this helps.

Id also recomend a s-video cable if you have a tv to surport it, it makes a difference. Also get Dracula X, the jap version of SOTN. It's really good. It the same as the ps version with some new areas, items, and so forth. You can also pick Maria, Alucard, or Richter right off the bat.

Hey everyone, with all this talk of the Saturn i've started buying games again!

Just got Shinobi Legions (my brother is playing it as I type), Sega Rally Championship Ed, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Marvel Super Heros and Steep Slope Sliders.

I've flagged down appox $400 (Can) on ebay and am looking to filter through some of it.

Anyone play Independence Day for saturn? I own it for PS1 and enjoy it, wondering if its worth the investment.

Is the Sega Saturn Arcade Stick (official, in box) worth 25 bucks (USD)?

Also looking at Quake and Hexen, I own Duke Nukem 3D and Alien Trilogy and am looking for some more FPS on Saturn.

Sonic R is calling my name, but i'm not totally sold, thoughts?

Some of the other games i'm looking at are;

Resident Evil
D
Nights into Dreams
Ultimate MK3
Vitrua Cop 1 and 2

Thanks

ps. NHL 97 would ROCK if the shots were better. no joke.

Grab Nights...D is a good game, and I would recommend grabbing PowerSlave (Exhumed in Europe).  PowerSlave is a great FPS...one of the best on the system.

If you are looking for something different go find The Horde.  The Critic gave it a terrible review, but I think he is way off base.  Its a very challenging strategy action hyrbid.  I really have never played anything like it.  One of my favorite hidden gems of all time.
