another Saturn question

I am having some problems with my Action Replay and Sonic R(import). It freezes at the loading screen every time. The disk is clean and scratch free. Is this some compatibility issue with the Action Replay?

Are you remembering to hold x, y and z as the game loads? That is usually necessary to load import games

The only time I ever had this problem was when I bought my first action replay cart. I thought it had the 4MB of RAM in it, but it didn't. I was trying to play Metal Slug which needed 1MB of extra RAM to play. The game would boot up, but it would never finish loading.

I really don't think this is the same for your issue though. I don't think Sonic R requires the extra RAM to play...I'll look around the net see if I can't find a compatibility issue or something.

Would it have to be an action replay with a newer bios maybee. I never had to hold those three buttons on imports before but I tried it. No luck yet
