Gamecube Owners - Memory Cards

Postby Swade_Dogg » April 2nd, 2007, 6:31 pm

Hello again everyone,

I wanted to know what you would recommend for a Gamecube Memory card.  I'm only planning on picking up a handful of GC games, namely, the Resident Evils, the Metroid Primes, Paper Mario, Windwaker, Twin Snakes, and a couple of others.  Can I get by with the smallest Memory Card available if I only have, say, 10 saved games on it?

Thanks for the assistance!

Fully dependant on the games. Some games only take a few slots, others eat up the entire card. The smallest card has 59 slots, so you should technically be able to get 10 saves on it, but then again, you may have to buy a new card for only one game if it takes a lot of room. It's impossible to answer until you list all the games you'll buy.

You can get a first party 251 block memory card for $20, or a first party with over 1000 blocks for $30. You should just get one of those instead. No reason to save $5 if you're already investing that much.
