Hidden Gems for the DS

If any of you are looking for some great DS games I've got a couple recommendations for you.
First up we have Lost Magic. The game is supposed to be an RPG, but it comes off as a real time strategy game with action elements. Basically you are this young wizard (they never let you be an old wizard) and you are thrust in an epic quest, yada yada yada...The real treat of this game is the spellcasting. To cast spells you must draw symbols on the touch screen. It might seem clunky at first but after a few battles it becomes second nature. I love the quick reflexes needed to play this game. This game is on clearance at Toys R Us for $10 right now. If you want a unique game that really takes advantage of the DS touch screen give it a shot.
The second hidden gem is a title that came out recently...its called Puzzle Quest. The game takes the game bejeweled and shoves it into an RPG! It sounds crazy but I'll be damned if it doesn't work like a charm. The game plays out like a typical RPG and you explore and solve quest, but when it comes time to battle out comes the bejeweled screen. You attack, gain experience, gold, cast spells...all by matching 3 symbols a la bejeweled. Its crazy fun and one of the most unique games I've ever played. Oh and if you don't have DS its also out on the PSP.
Has anyone else played and enjoyed these games?

Nope. But I'll hijack this thread to again recommend Pac'n Roll.

I'd like to also hijack this thread for a couple of things~
I just got "Konami Classics Series:Arcade Hits" and it totally rules. People are saying that this game is hard to find, so I very strongly suggest you guys track it down. You know, I've played "Roc N' Rope" for Atari 2600 for years and it's been one of my favorites. The actual arcade game, featured on this DS cart, totally blows it away. It was the big pleasent surpise of this cart. Need I mention this DS cart contains the orginal arcade Contra and Gradius?? Buy it!
"Quickspot"......I gotta get this one. I love playing these games in magazines and newspapers, now there' a video game version of it, finally
JLH.........."Bonks Revenge" is coming to Wii Virtual Console. I'm vey very happy for you. You're in store for a great gaming love affair.

I will be picking up Konami Classics as soon as I see it. Thanks for the tip.
Zen you were right about Splatterhouse. I bought that game the day it came out on the Virtual Console and it was exactly like you said. I'm certainly glad I only spent $6 instead of $30 on it. Its still a real nice game, but it pales in comparison to the 2 genesis sequels.
I simply cannot wait for Bonk's Revenge. That game and Bloody Wolf look like two must own games. I wish they made a 2D Bonk game for the DS. Its such a great little franchise!
Hey Zen have you ever played Dragon's Curse on the TB-16? It looks interesting, but I can't find a good review of it anywhere.

DO NOT BUY BLOODY WOLF!!!!!!!!
I know this game is well regarded by TG-16 fans, but trust me, they are speaking from nostolga and not reality. It's just like how Genesis Altered Beast is a favorite to those whom played it in the day, but any gamer playing it for the first time today will tell you it sucks.
Bloody Wolf really shows the weaknesses of the TG-16. This game is basically a statement that says "Genesis, NES, and SNES do Rambo games alot better then we can".
If you only blow 6 bucks on it, oh well. I was sorry enough to pay about 40 bucks for a complete copy of the actual TG-16 game.
Dragon's Curse.........this is what it's called on Genesis
On TG-16, it's "Devil's Crush", whatever you want to call it, it's easily in the top-3 best pinball games ever made. Anyone passing this game up would be a complete fool.
"Devil's Crush" is my overall favorite&most played TG-16 game; narrowly beating out the "Bonk's Revenge" and "Legendary Axe 2".
