Resident Evil 0 is my second favourite RE game after Code Veronica.  Anyone who calls it an F-grade game clearly is not a fan of RE and then this obviously wasn't made for you.  It's like me calling Madden games F games.

Blue, I just didn't get into RE0, simply because it had too much of that been there, done that feel to it. The whole time I was playing it, I kept feeling like I had done all of it before. I wouldn't say that I'm not a RE fan because I didn't like Zero. Heck, I'm the biggest Pearl Jam fan I know but I HATED Riot Act. I'm a huge fan of Beck but his last album was disappointing. You don't have to like everything in a series, as a whole, to be a fan.

I don't think he's saying that you have to like everything in a series to call yourself a fan.  I think he is just saying that RE0 has the classic formula of a game in the RE series, so it baffles him (and me too) when gamers show so much hate for it.  It is what other RE games are, only more polished.

I can understand the "been there, done that" feel of the game. I think even the main developer said that about it when he conceived of RE4.  Still, I think it was a great game personally, and as it is one of the very few RE games which you can only get on one platform, it is one of those most overlooked too.

This is one of those games I overlooked at first and couldn't get into, but then when I gave it a chance, I ended up really enjoying myself.  I still prefer REmake to it, but it's by no means a failing grade game.

I've got one for you, Total Recall for the NES by Acclaim.  What a complete piece of garbage.  There's not one single interesting thing about this game.  It's full of cheap hits, poor animation, slowdown, and not even a glimpse of Sharon Stone.  For shame -- Grade "F-"
