Nevermind being stuck.  It was something so obvious that I'm embarassed I missed it.

Did anyone else notice the DS Lite image in the cook's hut on the first floor of Flipside Village?  When you go up to it, it indicates to press up on the direction pad.  When you do, it says "Awaiting data upgrade...".  Looks like this game is going to be one of the first to have DS connectivity, though for what purposes it isn't very clear right now.  It might be some kind of cooking minigame, at least in this case, given its location.

LOL nevermind.  It's just a recipe computer.  Eventually, it gives out recipes.

Why it looks like a DS Lite, well... I guess it's just a style choice.

Heh. I was betting it wasn't connectivity. Haven't you ever noticed how often Nintendo throws their portable devices into games as some kind of nifty gadget?

Yeah, it's pretty awesome but I'm already stuck in 1-3, at the Castle! There's a pipe looking thing that is sealed off, after a row of pillars, and a castle I can't enter.:-(

I just got Super Paper Mario today, along with Kororinpa Marble Mania.

Honestly, Marble Mania is stealing the show and I haven't touched Super Paper Mario yet.

Marble Mania just might be the very first hidden-gem/buried treasure game in the Wii history.

Hidden gem? Really? I think the Wii crowd is really easy to please. How long have you played the game? My buddy and I toiled through it for a few hours and returned it the next day. I found it to be entertaining but I didn't think there was much to it. After a few hours I didn't have any desire to ever play it again. I don't know, maybe you are really into this type of game. The next thing I will read on this site is that Wing Island is the next Pilot Wings.

Shawn, that's why he said it was a hidden gem rather than a masterpiece! Lol! You just said it yourself that it was entertaining well.....maybe he found it entertaining enough to play it more often than you did which, to me, constitutes a hidden gem. I almost picked the game up tonight but I opted to give the Godfather a try instead. I'm actually going to see a few friends for awhile so I won't get the chance to play it until I come back. *frown
