Wii Godfather is fun

Take away the motion controls, this would be a watered down GTA clone with a good license that would not interest me in the least. Add the headbutts, throws, the baseball bat beatings and the strangling... and I love this friggin' game.

Everyone who has a Wii that is sick of Zelda, Mario and Party games needs to try this action game for a good time.

BTW: I think I like it because I enjoy grappling in real life and the combat is pretty much grapple based too. It's a nice diversion.

Yea I posted about this game when I got it around a month ago. If the game didn't have the motion controls it wouldn't be worth it. Yet it easily has some of the best motion controls on the system. It just feels so good to punch, toss and shoot people with the wiimote. If you have some extra money to burn the get The Godfather...its probably the second best single player game on the system right now.

After playing this game I wanted to see how Scarface was gonna turn out, but I just read on IGN that it will feature limited motion controls...what a waste.

I picked it up yesterday and am loving it so far! I still have enough on a gift card to get one more game and it's a toss up:

1). The marble game(I can't remember the title of it)
2). Tiger Woods
3). Excitetrucks
4). Trauma Center
5). Wii Play(for the spare controller)

My suggestion is either Excite Truck or Trauma Center. Personally, I LOVE both. Only get Wii Play if you want a few minigames and an extra controller. Otherwise, the controller itself is about $10 cheaper.

If you need the extra controller Wii Play is worth the additional $10, otherwise get Excite Truck. It is probably my second favorite game on Wii.

I would actually go with Wii Play. Soon, a flood of great software will hit the Wii. You will want to spend your entertainment dollars then on the cool new games rather than buying more controllers.

Get the controllers now so you can focus on the awesomeness to come. Launch games like Excite Truck will drop in price anyway.

That's probably a good point. Where I live Super Monkey Ball (Knoxville) dropped to $35 used. I'm waiting on Trauma Center, Excite Truck and Sonic to drop in price.
