Yeah I saw the same gameplay footage on Gamespot, and I am much less skeptical than I was.

Apparently reloading involves shaking the wiimote, which I think would be pretty awkward when your in the middle of shooting a horde of zombies rushing at you. What I'd really like to see is a scoring/grading system on your performance throughout the levels and allowing players extra content based on that (Better score/grade would mean unlocking extra levels/guns/characters). It would give the game some replayability beyond some of the "other" light gun games.

I so want to see a House of the Dead collection on Wii. They should use a modified version of the Rayman shooting levels, with better accuracy and such.

No, it works perfectly. That's how you reload in the Rayman: Raving Rabbids shooting games, and it somehow feels more realistic and really intuitive, which I understand doesn't make sense. That is, I have yet to see a gun that you reload by shaking. I'd imagine it would be a bit dangerous.
I once owned a gun that was reloaded by pointing it off to the side and firing, but it scared off all the animals.
I think Wii owners are really in a for a treat this summer/fall: RE4 redone with the PS2 extras and motion controls, plus Umbrella Chronicles, totally built for Wii.

RE4 is easily one of my favorites but is there really a market for this game considering that it was originally on the Gamecube like 2 years ago? I tell you the Wii is going to have to do better then this. It is becoming the King of rehashed games! Don't hate me, it's true.
Although I will say I don't care if Umbrella Chronicles is on rails. A RE light gun type game? Sounds good to me.
