Umbrella Cronicles not quite as on-rails as we thought...
Well met, Capcom!
Yes, I agree. I was actually kind of skeptical about Umbrella Chronicles until I saw the gameplay videos on Gamespot. Though it hasn't busted my skepticism, it has definitely made me think of it in much more glowing terms than I was.
As for RE4, ever since I knew about both the Wii and RE4 in detail, I had secretly wished that Capcom had waited to put out RE4 for the Wii. I just think that the way that RE4 controls is so suited to the Wii that it almost had to happen. So needless to say, I am thrilled to see it now. It is precisely what I wanted.

I loved RE4 on Gamecube, but I just couldn't put up the money to get the PS2 version just for some new stages. For $30 I will happily buy the game with the PS2 extras, and some Wii controls, which I think will work perfectly for the game.

I so want to see a House of the Dead collection on Wii. They should use a modified version of the Rayman shooting levels, with better accuracy and such.
I'm with you about wanting to see a good lightgun game for the Wii, but I would prefer a new House of the Dead game.

The Wii controls for RE4? What is going to be added that makes it so special? It is a 3rd person shooter? Somebody help me out with this? I mean, the Wii can't do a decent FPS so what is the controls going to do to make it a must own almost 3 years after the fact. I am not bashing the Wii I am just asking.

Well, Shawn, first I'm going to ask you to calm down. Next I would say try out aiming the bow and arrow in Twilight Princess and see how accurate it is. The added ability to aim with the Wii remote will have me popping heads and kneecaps better than ever before.

I am just asking an honest question which has yet to be answered. What are going to be the control features on the Wii version that will make me buy it? That's all!

I tell you the Wii is going to have to do better then this. It is becoming the King of rehashed games!

I don't even own a PS3. If you look at the sales for March it's top game was Wii Play which was a purchase for the controller. That tells me I am not the only one unimpressed with the Wii lineup.
