I think there is a big difference between can't and hasn't. When Metroid comes out, we'll see if it's great or if it tanks. If Nintendo can't make M3 good, then I'd say you are right.

Exactly what I was going to say. I bought FarCry for $20 at Wal Mart the other day, and while the graphics are some of the laziest I have seen, the not-too-bad control made me excited for a good company to really make an awesome FPS for the system. Obviously you can't be saying that the Wii isn't powerful enough to make a good FPS, because the Wii is more powerful than the gamecube, and the Gamecube had RE4. As good as RE4 looked it won't take much of a graphical improvement for me to be happy, especially if the control is done right.

I don't even own a PS3. If you look at the sales for March it's top game was Wii Play which was a purchase for the controller. That tells me I am not the only one unimpressed with the Wii lineup.

I purchased it for both, actually. But why should it surprise you that it is the top seller? That doesn't help your point at all. ANYONE who buys another Wii controller with any brains is going to get the one that comes with an extra game for 10 bucks. If you did that on any new system, especially one like the Wii where multiplayer is where it's at, of course it would be the top seller.

So let me guess Paul, you think FarCry on the Wii is an A+ title, right? What is most predictable is this site. Any time ANYBODY says a negative thing about Nintendo or asks an honest question about the wii the tree stooges (Paul, Mozart and a) are there to bash them. All I wanted to know was specifcally what "new control" scheme was going to be added to RE4 for the Wii. It is obvious that you guys have NO idea.

Where did Paul say he thought it was an A+ title? He pretty much said that the graphics were the laziest he has ever seen. You need to start taking your medication again.

Nintendo makes many mistakes, but your criticism isn't just pointing those mistakes out, it's manufacturing severity out of thin air. You exaggerate every point you try to make to the level that hardly anyone can take it as a serious criticism, or even serious curiosity.
And when that doesn't work, you exaggerate the praise of others, such as you did just now with Paul.

Watch the friggin' gameplay video on Gamespot! Read the freakin' interview! They've been available for more than a week now! Do you need assistance with that or something? Do you need someone to hold your hand while you do your business? Why not do something innovative like LOOK for information rather than just do your usual thing by coming in here and demanding we give you a new treatise in response to your same old and very tired "Nintendo has to to better than this" mantra.

You just look for ANYTHING you can latch onto to bash Nintendo. I already told you that Shawn. If you would like it in further detail perhaps you could visit one of the many gaming sites with previews on the game; such as ign. You act as though we're freaking out at you, but you're the one with words in ALL CAPS and ten exclamation points after every sentence!!!!!

As far as this mysterious new control scheme that apparently isn't as obvious to you as it is to everyone else in the world, Shawn, the Wii has this little remote that you can point at the screen and direct a cursor or crosshair so that aiming your gun is much quicker and much more precise than with dual analog. I thought you would know about that by now. No wonder you have been so set against the Wii. I assumed you would have figured this after you read the post where I raved on and on about FarCry (easily the Game of the YEAR!!!!!) and that its crosshair and movement controls are very reassuring for the future of FPS's on the system.
