The quality hasn't dropped. A few people were offended by a few lighthearted jokes in your reviews, no big deal.

Reviews Getting Better or Worse?
First off, thanks for all of the kind words.
When I first began writing the reviews, it was easy to bang out a brief description and say if a game was good or bad. However, after a few hundred reviews, I began to realize that the reviews were all starting to sound the same. At that point, I tried to incorporate distinguishing characteristics, like a personal anecdote, joke, or comparisons to similar games. Writing a review is easy, but writing a review unlike all the others out there takes effort.
I realize my reviews are getting longer, and there are a number of reasons for this. For one thing, the newer games are more complex so there's a lot more to talk about. In the case of my re-reviews, I want to add more content without sacrificing the best parts of the original review, which means those are longer too. I agree with Alienblue however that I'm pushing the limit and should try to keep them short.
Some may be sensitive to the politically incorrect references to women, gays, etc., but I don't like the idea of watering down my analysis. Some of these references are quite funny in my opinion, and as long as they're not mean or disrespectful, I don't see the problem. Most of the time they are presented in a tongue-in-cheek manner.

Keep up the good work. I like the funny comments. Seriously, if Imus can get canned for saying "nappy ass hoes" things have gone way too far. As this is the console world, forget about the PC crap. Make as many jokes as possible within the context of the game where it makes sense.
