I have no intention of getting an Xbox360, but the lack of being backwards compatible still affects me. I got an Xbox cheap, but do you have any idea how hard it is to find Xbox games now!? PS2 and Gamecube-sure,no problem, just like GBA the newer systems take the old stuff "raw", so games are easy to find in bargain bins and there are even a few NEW ones! But X360 came out a year ago, and after HALO2 it was like Microsoft was "What's an XBOX? We only make X360!" .... the only games I've gotten for it to date have been mailed to me from a freind (thanks M!)

I HAVE heard a rumor a department store in the next town is blowing out old XB games...stay tuned...!
Since the XBOX console is no longer being produced, it's a problem for everyone.  But I have to wonder why you can't get XBOX games.  Heck, there are tons of them at every Gamestop and EB Games store here in Houston -- whole walls of them.  They had a promotion this past week of buy two get one free ONLY for used XBOX games, because they can't easily sell them and just want rid of them at this point.

So if you have a list and want to buy some, you should let me know what they are.  Practically every game is at my local Gamestop.

mOzart: You really ARE Santa Claus aren't you?! Well, I would gladly pay someone for picking up any 2D compilations like Capcom or Taito. I don't want to go deeper than that right now 'cause in a few days I'm going to this store in the other town that MAY have some.

But in my town, we are small, senore! We are a pitifull game poor people! Our Wal*Mart has all the last and current system games EXCEPT Xbox-when asked why, "They don't make it any more!" They still SELL Ps2's and GCMs. Even PSP, but no XB, unless it is 360. I think another problem is I rely to some extent on second hand stores-and because the 360 has backwards compatible issues, a lot of people have KEPT their xbox and games (and some give them away as gifts, don't they?)

AB, with your lack of transportation and lack of game stores, you've gotta do some online shopping (or maybe pay a 'middleman').  It's actually probably more cost efficient.
