The Video Game Critic

As some of you may know, I absolutely love Street Fighter games. However, when the game started introducing Alpha Meters and the like, I started rolling my eyes and it lost my interest. But, I bought Street Fighter EX-A for the PS2 for like $3 and that game is really pretty decent. First, Zangief is a friggin huge monster with great range, an excellent move set and the Final Atomic Buster is easier to land than normal. But, what I think is pretty cool is the street fight that happenes during the credits.

That got me to thinking, I would love a Street Fighter beat 'em up ala Streets of Rage or more logically Final Fight. With all of the Final Fight/ Street Fighter tie-ins and the 2D mini-revival that's happening.... who am I kidding. That wouldn't happen.

But anyways... who else would like to play a Street Fighter beat em' up?

I'm not a fighting game fan but SF is an exception. SUPER SF2 is my favorite, I *love* cammy and chun-li.

I AM a graphic designer. I would make a 2-D streets of rage type game, that style of music, but with the Super SF2 backgrounds drawn out long...Ken fights his way through the docks, Guile through the Military air base, Chun li through chinatown streets. Every level would be a different character with different moves. THAT is how to use next gen power!

That's a cool idea. And when you beat the game you could use other characters through other's stages to access new areas perhaps?

Make sure you use Zangief! I think his move set would be better for taking out hordes of weenies as opposed to one on one fighting, actually.
