What do you mean? It's not two-player only... All of the mini-games can be played by a single player as well...

I think he meant it was a limit of two players, as in not up to four as one would think.
Hey Critic,
Congratulations on finding a Wii.  I was fortunate to get one the day it came out, but Fry's made me buy the bundle with 5 other games (of which only one I really wanted).  Plus, I had to buy Zelda because it was not part of the bundle.
So, I've had the Wii for about 6 months, and you know what game I play the most...Wii Sports!  That's right, the pack-in game.  This game is so much fun, especially multi-player.  I could play bowling and tennis anytime!  I know you're checking it out with all of your friends and family, but don't over look the "Training" games.  These games have great replay value since you'll always try beat your top score or get a better medal.  here's one to shoot for.  Play the first Tennis training game (returning balls).  My personal record on that is 92!  No joke.  I have yet to hear of anyone getting a better score than that.  Let me know if you do.

Who the hell is this guy? I cry name infringment.

To be honest Wii Sports has lost its luster. I still think it's the best way to get people aclemated to the controls and great for get togethers.

I have 2 complaints with the Wii so far: One would be the lack of sword games that don't suck and two: they should use every oppurtunity to include the Miis in as many games as possible. I like how it felt like you and your family/ friends Miis were becoming part of the Wii... but Wii Sports and Wii Play are the only games that feature your Miis and that sucks.

Hey, Grandmaster V...did you rip off Bud Bundy's alter ego??  Or was it Funkmaster Flex who gave you the idea?  Please don't cry, Spunkmaster 5.

LOL.  I kid...but I've been funky_muzic for years (as in "play that funky music white boy"), this is just the first time that you've had the good fortune to get sprinkled with some of my wisdom.
I do agree with you about the Miis.  It adds quite a bit to the game.  How much better would Zelda be if your Mii's was on the Link character.  That would be hilarious.

I liked the games, I loved the concepts, I just wish they would have went an extra mile on features
I agree.  I can understand Nintendo wanting to "keep it simple", but an options menu would have been nice in Wii Sports, if only to turn off those annoying instant replays.  Also, I was fairly shocked to see Wii Play was two player only.
You can press A to skip the instant replays. In tennis, however, you have to press it like four times (which is rather stupid)

Wasn't that Boston?  Who I secretly believe is Shawn anyway.  Still, I'd like to keep the aliases (aliasi?) straight.

I live about 20 miles south of Boston. What the heck does that have to do with it? I want objective reviews but I won't get them here. I am so glad the critic is off gamerankings. This site is the ultimate Nintendo fanboy site!

I agree. The more Mii-able games, the better.

Boston was another guy who used to come here to sulk and cry.  I assumed you were both the same 12 year old playing at being a grown up.

Maybe you should whine more.  That might get your point across.

No, you're just the ultimate Nintendo hater, and you can't handle it when people try to challenge your opinions and rants, so you get all frustrated and start whining and using lots of capital letters and insults like the 12 year old that you actually are.

Let's be reasonable here.  What do you expect people to do when you jump into the middle of a totally reasonable discussion with something like "The Wii is the biggest piece of @#$% in the world!!  Everything about it SUCKS!!! The GRAPHICS are N64 quality at best!!! Anyone who buys it is a SUCKER!!!! If you like the Wii you are RETARDED!!!11111!!!!!11!!11!  I'm Shawn!! I'm Awesome!!!!"  What do you expect us to do, just sit back and say "Well, he must be right.  I'd better go pawn off my Wii and all my games and my TV and my stereo and my wedding ring and my kidneys and go buy a PS3."  Don't you think we would defend ourselves and our purchase?  I'm not a pushover.  I'm not a your freakin' doormat.  Don't you think it stands to reason that we are going to respond to your crap?  That doesn't make us "fanboys" (the fact that you use that term seriously tells me you must be under 16), that makes us normal people.  Get a clue.

this reminds me of the early 80s: ZX Spectrum vs Commodore 64 arguments. C64 had the best graphics and sound, but the Spectrum had the best games. etc. etc. etc.

Some things never change.

A ZX Spectrum fanboy.
