Or how about that 360. Look what Microsoft did! I know a lot of people who were pissed because of the new one that came out. (some say it's a rip-off) but still! ARGGHHHHH

Yeah, I know how you feel, guys. When I got my PSOne (well, my then-girlfriend now-wife got it for me for Christmas), it cost close to $200 and came with a regular controller. Just a little while later, it came down to $150 and included a dual-shock analog controller! If I wanted to buy the controller by itself, it cost close to $30! I felt pretty burned... but quickly alleviated my ill sentiment by burying myself in some immersive, 3-d gaming goodness.

Here is my story of "it really sucks when"
It really sucks when you want to buy that new dreamcast and don't want to pay top dollar. Whats a young teenager to do? Gather up all of his prestine condition Nintendo 64 stuff and pawn it to EBgames for a measley $100 off a dreamcast (seemed like a great deal at the time). I sold my N64 with about 15 perfectly boxed games to that evil store. A little while later Sega announced that it was killing the Dreamcast by not making any new games.
If the Dreamcast wasn't so frigging amazing I would have been really pissed. It took me unil this past Jan to finally re-aquire a boxed mint N64...it cost me about $100 on ebay. Now I'm slowly rebuilding my collection of games for it. In the end to save a $100 its gonna probably cost me $300-$400.
