I even took over a couple other Wii games, but we could not stop playing Wii Sports. Perhaps the game is simple and the controls aren't dead on perfect, but who the hell cares when the game is so freakin' fun?

Surprisingly there are people on this forum that don't agree with that sentiment. They think a game MUST have depth. I 100% agree with you, though.

Where is Dragon's Curse and Final Soldier for Turbographix 16?
Dragon's Curse is the same game as Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap for the Master System. Already reviewed, got a well-deserved A (though I'd guess the TG16 version would get knocked down a bit, given that the console in general had better games than the Master System).
But yeah, you're still missing Wild Gunman for the NES and the entire Timesplitters series.

Then why are people buying both on the VC?
Anyway, one thing we can all agree on is that VideoGameCritic shouldn't bother with the Wii reviews or even putting up a Wii section. We all know the system is just a gimmicky toy, a system who's fad is now ending. Putting up a Wii section would tarnish the other TRUE video game systems already up there. Analyst Pachter said that the Wii would die within a couple years (but probably be sooner) so who are we to contend with him?

Uh, given that the VC doesn't even support Master System at all, never the less Wonder Boy III, I can safely say they aren't.

Uh, in your last post you just (correctly) pointed out how Wonder Boy III: Dragon's Trap was ported as Dragon's Curse to Turbographix 16. All the Wonderboy master games were ported.
There is a Wonder Boy on the VC but it is Monster World. My mistake was thinking it was Wonder Boy III. But it is not much of a mistake considering that there are two Wonder Boy IIIs and so many different ports and re-namings. What a mess! (http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/wonderboy/wonderboy.htm)
The Wonderboy I don't see on Dave's site is Monster Lair. Perhaps it is on another name of another port reviewed elseware. With all the ports and renamings of Wonderboy, it is easy to lose track!

Yeah, people are downloading both Dragon's Curse and Wonder Boy in Monster World from the VC. These games aren't the same, so there's no problem there.

And yes, the Wonder Boy games are incredibly annoying to keep track of, given that each title has about 3 different names, and some names are used for the different games in different regions. Ack.

Sounds like everyone at VGM 7 had a great time! I can't wait for the Wii Reviews. Oh, one more thing. I used to play the hell out of Battletoads with my next door neighbor back in the day. For some reason, it was even more fun to beat on each other than it was to progress through the game.
It did have a draw back. Level 3 was almost impossible for us to pass with 2-players. We never passed that "scooter" section at the end, where you have to go around all of those walls! I was able to do it one-player, but with both of us playing, it never happened.
