I know I've been a bit slow in getting reviews up lately (there's been a lot of singletons) but that's because lately I've been organizing Video Game Mania 7, which was held at my house yesterday.  It was a blast and I will soon chronicle the hilarious results on its own web page.

Rest assured I have a lot of great reviews in the pipeline, most of which are 90% complete.  I also have no less than 5 RPG reviews from Jonathan Hawk, the freelancing RPG critic.  Now that I have more free time I should be able to pump out the reviews at a faster rate.  Coming attractions:

Dreamcast: Fur Fighters, Tokyo Xtreme Racing, Super Runabout

Saturn: Manx TT

Neo Geo: 3 Count Bout, Art of Fighting

NES: Metalstorm, Jurassic Park, Battletoads

Playstation: Time Crisis 3

Turbografx: Soldier Blade, Dragon Spirit

360: Earth Defense Force, Cabala's African Safari

...and plenty of Wii games.

Yeah, but since the Wii was a last minute addition, I only used Wii Tennis (team doubles).  Needless to say, the Wii was the hit of the party, and people stayed around afterwards and played it for hours.

How about a Nintendo 64 game or two? I have seen the pictures of the Video Game Manias and no N64 game. How about Goldeneye 007? That is not a bad title. I doubt there will be a Sega CD or 32x title, CDi title, Jaguar, Atari 5200, 7800, or Virtual Boy title in the Mania

LOL, the Wii is a party machine, no doubt about it.

Wii tennis was proably the best game for Wii you could have used anyway. Fast and simple, no screwing around.

What!? You were playing games for fun instead of reviewing them for us Internet nerds? HOW DARE YOU! Fellow Net Nerds, let us all gang up on him!

But seriously, there are some gaping holes in your ever-increasing and ever-enlargening game collection.

For the NES, where is the review for Guardian Legend? And where is the review for Ducktales? Both are considered some of the NES finest.

Where is the Legend of the Mystical Ninja for SNES?

Where is Dragon's Curse and Final Soldier for Turbographix 16?

Where is the review for Yoshi's Island DS?

And someone must be hacking into your site as I see the score for Blaster Master is a C+ and I know the Video Game Critic couldn't have scored it that low. You should look into the matter.

I've brought it up quite a few times.  That review is actually higher than the D it had before he re-reviewed it.  I just don't think that style of gameplay appeals to everybody.  But I worship that game.

I can imagine how awesome it must have been playing the Wii with a big crowd of people at VGM 7. I have had my Wii for a couple of months and have definitely enjoyed playing it (mostly by myself). But tonight was the first time I was able to play with a group of people, and it blew me away.

A buddy of mine called me up today and said he'd been craving Guitar Hero and wondered if I'd bring it over. And then as an afterthought he said, "Oh, yeah, my wife thinks the Wii looks kind of fun, so maybe you could bring that over sometime, too."

I'd been dying for some Wii multiplayer action, so I loaded up the Wii along with my PS2 with Guitar Hero 1 and 2. Another buddy and his wife was going to be there so it was an opportunity to play with 4 other people.

My buddy really loves Guitar Hero, so when I got there, he wanted to play it first. But for some reason we decided to hook the Wii up instead. And, well, to make a long story short, we were still playing Wii Sports 5 hours later and hadn't touched Guitar Hero. I even took over a couple other Wii games, but we could not stop playing Wii Sports. Perhaps the game is simple and the controls aren't dead on perfect, but who the hell cares when the game is so freakin' fun?

Well, now, both couples are planning on buying a Wii. And who suggested that they needed to get one.  Not the men, but the women. Only one of the guys that I played with tonight play video games on a regular basis, and the women are definitely NOT gamers at all.

I think Nintendo may have struck gold with this one.

Okkkaaay, WHERE are the REAL classic reveiws!?

We want some 2600/INTV/CV/5200/7800 etc... reveiws, even if it is newer, homebrew stuff! The NES is nice but give us a few older reviews/ re-reveiws!

Even though I don't presently own one, the O2 is my favorite console to read about. Two words: Tutankham and Spiderman!

Surprisingly there are people on this forum that don't agree with that sentiment.  They think a game MUST have depth.  I 100% agree with you, though.
