I wouldn't think so. Legend of Zelda could be considered an Action-RPG.

What?  What ever happened to games like Ultima, Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy being dubbed RPG's?  Just because a game has a plot and characters and items, shouldn't make it an RPG.  That really seems too broad a spectrum for the genre.  If that is the case, Sonic Adventure is an RPG, Resident Evil 4, you could even loosely consider Ninja Gaiden.  How about Super Mario 2, because you can play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Toad?  Double Dragon, because you can play as Billy or Jimmy, and pick up nunchucks!!!  Tecmo Bowl, cause I can play as any professional team!!!!!  Rad Racer cause I can pick my car!!!!  Everything is an RPG!!!  IT'S MADNESS!!!!!  WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent. Breath Of Fire 2 is a favourite of mine. Played through it a ridiculous number of times now.

Awesome- I'm a big BoF fan! Hope that BoF2 gets a good grade, despite it being a bit primitive and having a horrible translation.
