Which Spiderman 3 to buy?

But the Spider-Man movie games are actually good, unlike most of the other trash. Shouldn't we buy THOSE, and tell the producers that hey, if your movie-based games are actually entertaining, they sell better?

Get the ps3 one its the only one that has green lantern as a playable character and you can fly in the whole city. That information was in Game Informer

But... Green Lantern is in the DC universe, not the Marvel. Are you sure it was Green Lantern and not someone similarly named in the Marvel universe?

EDIT: I think what you are talking about is the Collector's Edition, which will only be available on the PS3, and will include Harry Osborne, the new Green Goblin, as a playable character.

And I think you are probably right. That does add some sweetness to the pot.

I think the Green Lantern is due a movie and a game though. A Green Lantern game in particular could be very impressive, with the number of cool powers, the infinite locations, and even an assortment of playable Green Lanterns (John, Guy, Hal, Kyle, maybe Kilowag, and perhaps the magic guy from JSA as an unlockable).

As ar as playing Spiderman 3 on the PS3 goes, well, if they are smart about it, something about the Goblins flyer will be controlable with the Six Axis' motion sensing. That'd almost sell me a PS3, considering that Green Goblin is pretty high on my list of favorite villians (right behind Two Face, the current Riddler, and the Joker).

Do any of these games allow you to play as Venom? That's one of the things I really liked about that Ultimate Spider Man game.

I generally hate six-axis motion however six-axis makes perfect sense for the glider. Their shapes are similar and the glider naturally sways back and forth while gliding in the movie and so will your controller and so the glider should sway making the PS3 the best version if done right. Nobody's showing love for the PS2 version though. Very disappointing.

But then why bother puting Spidy in there? Much as I like Spiderman, I have to admit, if you have the Green Lantern and he can't solve the problem, 10 Spidermen aren't going to be of any use. Green Lantern went crazy and made a good run at destroying the entire universe. Spiderman goes crazy in the Venom suit and beats up a few thugs. There's a difference of scale there.
