Leo, you must not have much imagination. Point, click, drag. I really believe Battalion Wars will be an "A" game, but other than that, I know of none in development.
I am actually hoping for a Legend of Zelda point and click game. I realy believe that genre could come into its own again with Wii. Old school adventure games would be a great way to bring so called "hardcore" 3-d game franchises to a different, broader audience. And not to slam Twilight Princess, but it was basically the same game as OoT, but bigger, more polished, a few new additions in the game engine. Myself, I think if they don't do something different with the Zelda series, it will go stale.
Who here loved Space Quest, Kings Quest, Police Quest, etc, back in the day? Man, those were awesome games! If nothing else, give me some "compact software?" homemade efforts ala Peasants Quest.

I don't see it working well with a game like Command & Conquer at all. I'd rather see Nintendo make a mouse for the Wii like they did the Super Nintendo instead of waving around a remote control, its not going to work well picking out a unit thats nearby other units and such. You need precision and speed with a RTS game, thats why they've always sucked with game controllers, and I don't see pointing something at the screen working any better.
I'd rather see Nintendo put more emphasis on the classic controller and other controllers than try putting the Wiimote to use in games its not suited to at all. They should stick to their strengths.
Battalion Wars 2 isn't even a RTS anyways for the Wii, its basically a 3rd person action game, its nothing like RTS title if you ever even checked out screenshots or video of it.

Time for some RTS and point and click adventure games!
Agatha Christie's Ten Little Niggers is coming for the Wii in point-and-click form. Could be entertaining, I loved the book.
I've felt for a while that the Wii and the DS are the perfect place for point-and-click adventures. So this is good news.
... but I have a feeling they will change the name of the game before it is actually released

Nintendo is going to release a game called "Ten Little Niggers"? Are you kidding me? By the way I agree with the person who thought an RTS wouldn't work well on the Wii. I really don't find the control scheme to be much like a mouse/keyboard set up. I am not saying it won't work I just don't know how well.

Yeah it's kind of a real time action game.
I think the Wimote will work better than you think, granted it might takes some getting used to and never be as accurate as a mouse.
The Wii has some nice subtle vibration features, (going over buttons on the menu screen, pitch location confirmation of Wii baseball), and if used correctly, that could help a lot.
A mouse app, nothing wrong with that, the problem with the Wii is, "where do the peripheals (sp?) stop?!?
Maybe the Wii should have been packaged with a mouse and keyboard instead of the remote, lol.

Apparantly the name has been changed to "Then There Was One", so, well, no. It's still based on the book Ten Little Niggers, though.

I would love to see the Critic review some PC games. PC games are great and at least twice a year PC games completely take over my love for videogames.
I still play Warcraft II, Space Quest,Fallout I & II, Leisure Suit Larry, Diablo II, Starcraft, Sam and Max Hit the Road, Sacrifice and many many more.
Right now I've been mostly playing classic adventure games like Leisure Suit Larry, Maniac Mansion and Space Quest though. I love that genre and if I wish any genre could make a comeback it would be that.
I've finally dove headfirst into World of Warcraft after years of avoiding it. I can't believe I waited this long to play it. Its one of the most addicitive games I have ever played. Its truly a masterpiece of gaming. Whenever I get a few spare hours I play it. I simply can't stop playing it. Great stuff.

Why not? Now that I have some experience I am almost as fluent with a Wii remote as I am with a mouse.

I never asked, DOES THE CRITIC ENJOY REAL TIME STRATEGY GAMES? I know he hates RPGs and probably dislikes turn-based stuff too.
