Best Star Wars games/movies?
Since May is the unofficial month of Star Wars (the movies were always released in May), I'm in the process of watching all six films in order. When I'm through, I'll rate the movies from top to bottom.
As for the best Star Wars game, that's pretty tough, but three games stick out as my personal favorites:
Empire Strikes Back (Atari 2600)
Super Star Wars (SNES)
Star Wars Battlefront (Xbox)
Hopefully I'll get some new Star Wars game reviews up this month. I'm pretty sure my Battlefront 2 review is almost done.
Comments??

The best Star Wars games I've personally played are:
Star Wars Coin-op and C=>64/Amiga versions
Star Wars arcade 5200 version
The Empire Strikes Back (2600)
Star Wars Chess (PC)
Super Star Wars (SNES)
Clone Wars (Xbox)
There was also a very early Star Wars DOOM Clone for the PC- is it Dark Forces? That was pretty good. For worst, 2600 Jedi Arena sucked big time. 2600 Return of the Jedi was bad too, as was the horrible Jedi coin-op. As far as the movies go I rate them from best to worst: Empire Strikes Back, A New Hope, Clone Wars, Return Of the Jedi, Revenge Of the Sith with Phantom Menace wayyyyy at the bottom! "ME-SA JAR JAR!"-I'll never shake that!
And POD RACING? Was that just thrown in so Video Game racers could be made or what? A mother lets her little boy race a big machine like THAT!? Would YOU let your 8-year old fly a plane?
It's amazing how much better SW 2 and 3 are compared to ONE!
Ewoks ROCK next to Jar Jar's alien race! "You'sa in BIG doo doo!"
"Awwwwwww!...."

Funny you should mention that. Me and my best friend decided to watch all of them again in order this weekend.
My favorite Star Wars game is Knights of the Old Republic (XBOX), but many of us told you that before. It's amazing how it is so well modeled after the storyline of the original trilogy, yet is completely original and remains its own storyline.
Next in line comes Star Wars: Episode One Racer (N64). I cannot remember a racing game that I have loved as much as that one. The imaginative tracks, the Star Wars feel of the game. It was everything I hoped it would be.
Next in line are Star Wars: Rogue Squadron (N64), and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader (N64). Both of those recreated some memorable Star Wars moments while giving me full control of the action.
Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles (Dreamcast) was a lot of fun. I stayed away from the PS1 version, so I can't comment on that one.
Star Wars: Battle of Naboo (N64) is almost an Episode 1 version of Rogue Squadron. It had great visuals, and gave me the same feeling of watching Episode 1 while remaining in control of the action.
Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy were both fantastic games on any platform they appeared on. They are great to play alone as an adult, but really light up when you're playing it with some kids around.
I know a lot of people didn't like this one, but Star Wars: Bounty Hunter for the Gamecube, while not a perfect effort, was definitely a reasonable one for me. I enjoyed the game even though at times I found it frustrating.
Return of the Jedi was my least favorite film of the original trilogy, but Super Return of the Jedi for the SNES was a fantastic game for its day. I played that game over and over again throughout the years I owned my first SNES, and it seemed to never get old for me.
Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back for the NES and Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back for the Atari 2600 are both memorable experiences. Not only is Empire Strikes Back my favorite movie of the original trilogy and prequel trilogy, but these two efforts were the only Star Wars games I enjoyed on either of those platforms.

I personally can't stand knights of the old republic. I bought because of amazing reviews but when you don't like a genre and in this case pseudo turned based rpg, then no score no matter how high will change my mind. Best star wars game is Lego star wars original series followed by episode one racer (any platform except gbc)

I'm not going to rehash many of the great titles listed here. Obviously you all know that I am also a KOTOR nut. Go KOTOR!!!!
By the way.... I've heard rumors that the next KOTOR will be a MMORPG. If so, I think I might just stick an ice pick in my eye. I really, really hope that rumor isn't true....
I LOVED Rebel Strike on the Gamecube. The two player co-op (basically the full version of Rogue Leader) is some of the most fun co-op play I've ever experienced.
And I'm a "serious" Star Wars fan, and I found the disco thing funny....

P.S. I don't mind that this site doesn't really do PC games, but that does mean that some really great titles are left out here. X Wing and TIE Fighter are some of the best space combat games ever made (and use the imuse music system, which was, at the time, one of the most innovative adaptive music engines out there).

My favorite Star Wars game is Knights of the Old Republic for the Xbox. I dislike most RPGs and did not like this game at first until I played it for about two hours and got hooked. I played this game for an entire week until I beat it last June. Critic, you need to play this game!
Then my second favorite Star Wars game would have to be Rogue Squadron III for the Gamecube because of the fact that you can unlock the original Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back arcade games and you can play the Rogue Squadron II levels in the multiplayer section.

My movie list:
Empire Strikes Back
A New Hope
Return of the Jedi
Revenge of the Sith
Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Return of the Jedi might not have been incredible, but I still think it's better than any of te new trilogy which I still like enough to have watched several times each; heck, I read Star Wars novels). And say what you well about how agaonizingly boring parts of Phantom Menace are, I have some kind of soft spot for it because I was so much more excited about it than the others. I don't remember thinking anything about it was bad until I came down from the high of having watched a new Star Wars movie.
Also, I like Pademe in Ep. 1. As the latest three wore on Pademe got really weak and painfully stupid. I can't take the kind of writing where the woman who invades palaces on grappling hooks and then shoots the place up in Ep. 1 just sort of cries in her room all through Ep. 3.
