My friend is a competition level gamer and hipped me up to this site. If you have a bit of coin, not only do they make arcade style sticks using name brand components,
but they also have optional "encoder cards" that you can
swap out to use on multiple systems. These cards use the native encoding, and are not an adapter, so there won't be any input lag.

And the controllers look great!!

I am currently building my second custom arcade cabinet, and I can vouch for the components these guys use.  Looks like only the best parts go into their stuff, including stuff by Happ Controls.
