I heard that the console TMNT played a bit like the Prince of Persia games (which would slightly explain it being one player); is that true? And if it is, if you're saying this one's decent, won't you now have to go back and give Sands of Time another shot (which I think you should do anyway)?

[/QUOTE]Sands of Time is right on as being an overrated game Michael. Besides, the two sequels are horrible anyway, because they took it in a weird direction. Besides, TMNT has been around for a long time. Prince of Persia hasn't.

Umm, as a franchise, Prince of Persia has been around for quite a while. It started out as an Apple II game in the 80s, the same decade that birthed TMNT. Although I will agree that Warrior Within was horrible (didn't play Two Thrones), I still love Sands of Time and that's not going to change. But considering Dave's inital opinon of TMNT, wouldn't it make sense to put the game that's kind of its inspiration back through its paces? Although perhaps a difference in scores between the two games would reflect a preference for one series over the other, and if that was the only reason, it wouldn't be fair.-

Well, if you want easy to get achievement points, there's also Tomb Radier Legend and Rayman Raving Rabbids. Tomb Raider's are 50 a pop for each level completed, and Rayman's are pretty simple to get if you just keep on playing it.

The arcade port for the NES was a pretty good version of it, too.

I just finished beating the TMNT 1989 arcade version (from XBL) about 20 minutes ago--weird. It was fun and a bit nostalgic. Anyway, I can't imagine how difficult that game would be if I were putting quarters into it--dear Lord. I think I continued like 35 times.
