I have a severe epileptic disorder that has left me unable to play video games. Unless I can afford the operation I will never know what it is to play a video game.

 

Please, would you kindly describe to me what it is to play a video game so I may know.

Playing a good Role Playing Game is like reading Tolstoy or Dostoyevsky... they take time to get into, but are ultimately satisfying.  Action games are more like Chekhov or Gorky, where they require less of a time investment, yet provide instant gratification.

I am most interested in action game. I listen to big action Holywood movie but cannot see for fear of seizure and coma. It is a super duper.

Trust me, you are better off reading are doing about anything else than playing videogames. Playing videogames is at least better use of time than watching T.V., but that is pretty much it. Most games are mediocre or worse, and the good ones ussually end up addicting you until you finish, and unless they are classics, you will likely never play them again. Videogames universialy have poor storytelling, but most games can manage pretty good music.

Most action games focus on killing, and each game in the genre attempts to be a little more graphic than the last. Improved computer performance makes these games more 'realistic' so 'adult' gamers can have the (i)Mmature titles they crave. It is considered a plus in your typical action game to have chessy dialouge with lots of cussing delivered by paper thin stereotypes. Polygonal nudity is another emerging trend, because nothing beats looking at computer generated models of women before you can demean them with extreme violence. For some reason the videogame industry suffers from negative public perception, and restrictive legislation is considered periodicaly.

Well, I hope this helps, that is videogaming in a nutshell.

Forget polygonal nudity, is just polygons wearing ladies underclothing. Now, back in my day of the nineteen hundred eighties, we play GOOD games! Games like Centipede and Pac Man and Donkey Kong that could go on forever if you score is high enough, and very imaginative was, with flying ostriches and digging clowns! And games blocky-you like blocks like Tetris, that from Mother Russia, Dah? But anyway, now is all corrupt Amerikan Pimp nonsense, all first person killkillkill or long role play game make no sense, take years to finish.

Is better you try play pinball or marbles or something less

2600 and games. E.T. is good to start with....

It's like this...imagine a game of chess.

Except both players are playing at the same time (not taking turns), and about 1000 faster.  That's essentially a 'real-time strategy' game....which typically don't have any flashing lights, etc.

In an action game, imagine that you are a rook fighting against 50 pawns at once,  or 20 bishops, 15 knights...then you get to the end and face off against a massive queen or king.

Now that I think about it, most modern games have a warning at the beginning if they contain things that might set off an epileptic attack.
