I had no idea I'd enjoy the PSP more than the DS before I bought it.... I think it's the Dreamcast of today. (Which I mean in a good sense!)

Seriously, I almost always prefer the least (or less) popular systems. The one exception so far is the 2600 (but I've never played the INTV or Coleco, and, truth be told, I like my O2 as much as the 2600). Next for me is SMS and 7800 over NES, Genesis and TG16 over SNES, Saturn over the two mud pits, and Gamecube, Dramcast, and Xbox over the PS2. I'm a little afraid that if the PSP and PS3 continue to sell poorly I'll become a Sony fan. There's something about niche systems that makes their good games really, really good in my opinion. Maybe it's limited resources making them have to make great stuff really great, or less popularity leading to them taking more chances. Also, I like to be able to appriciate a full lbrary without too much shovelware and repeated empty hype making me anxious over every purchase.

I am not laughing. For the types of games I enjoy, the PSP is a terrific system. There hasn't been too much lately to get me excited about it but that should change soon. Heck, I bought MLB 2006: The Show a year go and I am still playing it. I can't say that about a single other game on any other system I own. The PSP may end up being my favorite system of all time.

For me it's the 360. Even with a Wii and a DS I still go back and play the 360 on a near daily basis even if it's just for 15 minutes at a time. With the Wii I often need to do some form of resyncing on the controllers which I don't even want to bother with if I've only got a couple of minutes to play before leaving the house.

When I have people over the Wii is the clear cut favorite. When I'm playing alone...not so much. I'm thinking of picking up SUper Paper Mario to give me some quality alone time with the Wii (um...yup that still sounds dirty).
The 360 is great, but there has been a lack of titles recently and there aren't many games I feel like going back to play. Lots of good games on the way though.
The PS3 is just hurting for games in general. There are a few games on the horizon and it will probably get better come the Fall. Not really worried since the games I have played have been good.
Maybe its because the weather is getting nice, but my new consoles are collect dust these days...

Hmmm... I haven't had to do any controller resynch on the Wii but once or twice since I got it, and both of those times were before mid-Jan of 2007.Are you having that problem on a regular basis?

I used to have that problem with the controllers losing connection to the Wii. It only takes about 30 sec to fix, but it was still annoying. It hasn't happened in a really long time though. I make sure I always use the first player controller when I play anything and that seemed to make it stop. I really don't know what causes it though.

Yeah, it's pretty much whenever I try out the Wii; however, there's usually a couple of weeks between gaming sessions on the Wii.Yeah, that could be it. I've got a basket of controllers under my coffee table so I'm most likely snagging the 2,3, or 4th remote instead of 1. Maybe I'll try labeling them so I know which ones to grab to see if that makes a difference.
