Holy cow, I thought you were lieing the first time you talked about this.   Now I see the pictures, amazing....   Everyone I know seems shocked when they see I own about 15 systems....   I see you have them all on shelves disconnected.   Do you ever get them out and play them?   So out of the obscure ones, which one is your favorite?

I see you still have no handhelds.   You should reconsider that.  The Nintendo DS is at least as good as say the CD-I.

So how many games do you own?  Got any pictures of your collections of games?

Yes - I play them.  The wiring runs behind the wooden posts for the shelving system.  I am still working on the console collection at the moment - I might start the collecting of the handhelds down the road.

From the obscure systems, I would have to say the Pippin @World just due to it's rarity.  For games, the Epoch Super Cassette Vision.

I have around 800 or so games spanning all the systems - so nothing like the monster game collections out there.  The shelves to the left and right of the shelving units are 12" deep, so they hold a good deal of games behind the initial first row.  The games are stored in a few other places around the room.  I'll put up a couple of pics in the next day or so.

"Sega PSOne"?

Am I allowed to boast that I own a console (not handheld, console) you don't? (well, different model, at least - CD-i 450)

Very impressive collection, indeed.

Whoaaa! Funny how non-collectors think MY collection is huge! I have around 400 cartridges and 80 Cd/DVD's spanning 12 different consoles and 8 old 8-bit computers (not counting tapes/ floppy/ downloaded games).

I have most of my game boxes stored under a Concession stand, with the loose carts/ discs stored in three bookcases. I also have several old and mordern handhelds, from Entex space invaders (1982) to a Pac-Man game pen (2005).

I rarely hook up the computers and store them in boxes in my closet. Since my gaming tastes change from old to new often, I keep all consoles ready to go! I have an old RF TV for older 80's systems and a direct-RCA jack monitor for newer systems. Still a pittance compared to yours!

I was a tad bit jealous of your collection and then I realized, geesh, that's a lot of dusting to do...

Awesome collection!

Yep - a little typo on the 'Sega' PSOne - this is still being developed by Sony.
Thanks for the comments on the collection.  Yes - the 450 model for the CD-i is on my target list (along with the other 8 or so variations of CD-i).  And Act is right - dusting is a pain in the but!  Happy gaming.

I have a defect 210 model lying around (broken CD tray), if that's of interest.

That's an amazing collection buddy. I have a nice collection also but its absolutely pales in comparison to yours. You truly are a hardcore console collectors that hardcore collectors should hold in high esteem.
