For the second time Xbox live will be offering a free xbla game to everyone with a silver or gold membership. It's called Aegis Wing. Its a co-op shooter that looks really cool. I think that's awesome that they are offering it for free.

I just bought Double Dragon for XBLA and I'm happy to report that its great old school fun. The HD mode is cool and they smooth alot of the edges. They have both the original and HD mode. Here's hope Ikari Warriors and POW are next.

but are you the former Sega Saturn X?

I never liked the original prince of persia game.  I felt that it had sloppy controls.  I love its 3d remakes though.   Considering they are remaking it, maybe they will fix the controls.  I can't wait to see it.


And a free shootemup tommorrow?   Awesome!!!

Snakeboy The original had some slowdown issues so in this asspect it's arcade perfect

I believe your referring to running then needing space to slow down and the fact that you had to press shift or A to step. Yes it is annoying but the actual platforming action is amazing. I remember jumping across a large gap and just was able to hang on the ledge just to see my evil side close the gate sending me to my death although I was actually falling to the next level. Was pretty cool to see in such an old game. Has anybody ever beaten it? I've never gotten past level nine. The game is unplayable on the NES however. Play on PC or on PS2 sands of time after unlocking it.

Yeah, I played Prince of Persia after I unlocked it from the extras of The Sands of Time.   I didn't give it much of a chance.   It seemed like Oddworld but with horrible controls.  Maybe I'll give it another chance considering how many people seem to like it.
