No doubt...Nintendo is kicking ass. It will be interesting to see what it is like a year from now. Man, you can do well with virtually no games in your library and zero new IP's. Just keep giving them Mario and Zelda and you are all set. I can't wait to play Mario Party 8!

Truth be told, that's the game I'm most looking forward to.  Maybe if your wife liked Mario Party as much as my fiancee does, you'd be looking forward to it to.  That and Animal Crossing.  I might finally pry her away from the Sims 2 when that one comes out.

Can I assume that the DS Phat is the original DS?  Or is like a pimped-out DS or something?  Like a chrome case with a brass stylus and cubic-zirconia jewels lacing the screens.... big subwoofer on the bottom.

Yes, the "DS Phat" is just a fan name for the old DS model before the DS Lite replaced it.

Not so surprisingly, the PS3 continues to have little to offer.  What they should have done was make God of War 2 a PS3 a time delayed exclusive just like Nintendo did with Twilight Princess. 

I'm just down on the PS3 at the moment as the most recent comments concerning Lair are all in the negative.  That was the one game I was really looking forward to coming out solely on the PS3.

I am surprised nobody is buying old style DSs. Apparently the Lite's are still tricky to get ahold of in Japan, so I would have thought people would go for the old ones. Unless they are simply not available.

On a similar note, will DS Lite Stylus's fit in the holder in an old DS? I ask because I have lost mine and it only seems to be DS Lite ones on sale now.

No.  The older DS stylus is slimmer -- more like a toothpick.  The DS Lite's stylus is better IMO, but it doesn't fit into an old-style DS' stylus holder.
