Wow, that is an interesting project. What compelled you to do that?

I've been wanting to contribute something to the Atari community for awhile, but everything was already done better than I could do it.  However, I can't find anything overly helpful on this topic, so I figured I'd make something helpful on it.

I'm really enjoying making the website, and now I think I may make one for each of the 7800 flight simulators and link them together as, say, the Atari 7800 flight school.  I think I will write with a German accent for Ace of Aces for some reason.

I'm finding this a good way to make the game more enjoyable (which I guess wouldn't take much).  Did you know that if you fly for awhile with the engine reved all the way up the helicopter will stop working?  If you're high up, you'll have lots of time to try to restart it, but it doesn't seem to want to turn over again.  I'm finding out all kinds of stuff like that.

That is cool. I would love to host a version of it on my site too... (double the exposure for you) with original links pointing to your site. Would that be cool with ya? I kind of view my website as a fairly popular one where the whole community gets props on it and gets to add to it.

I was doing a Fatal Run guide and got halfway through it and just couldn't finish it. God that was terrible.

That'd be awesome actually.  However, I'm only about a 20th of the way through what I'd like to have up on the Super Huey site, and only the "take off" section of the "reality mode guide" is completed.  The guide would be the part I'd think would be good to have a copy of on the Froo Froo, as the rest of the site is just silliness like stuff about the arcade mode increasing your estrogen levels and suggestions on missions that make the game fun to play.

Heh.  I could have used flight school for Tomcat F-14 Fighter Simulator .  I must have logged over 50 hours flight time.... with every single flight ending in a crash on the carrier.

Ace of Aces used to be one of my favorites on the C64.

It's been put on hold for awhile.  I burned out on the game.  It's by no means a masterpiece, so sinking so much time into it all at once wasn't easy.  Then I got caught up trying to map the buggy parts of Missing in Action where you fall through the screen due to invisible obstacles, which also kind of burned me out.  Then I got Midnight Mutants and played that until I finished it.  At the moment I'm in the process of reviewing the Goatstore 7800 JAMMA stick (I'll probably just post that here).

I'm soon getting back to it though.
