Just announced on IGN.com:

There will be a campaign mode (not excited) and co-op and competitive online multiplayer (very excited). And DS to Wii connectivity!

Looks like they are doing a nice job expanding this game for the Wii.

[QUOTE=ActRaiser]Next to Oblivion, I've probably played more Geometry Wars than anything else on my 360.  So, yeah, it's worth $20.  $50 is pushing it but with some type of campaign mode who knows.

As for the DS controls it probably wouldn't be that bad.  Move with the directional and shoot with the stylus.  The control wouldn't be quite as tight but it's certainly doable.

I would think that dragging the stylus to move and shooting with the Dpad would work better.

Here's a link to gamespot, they have a short interview about the game there. Biggest news to me was that on the Wii version, you move with the nunchuck analog and shoot with the curser on the screen. I think that will work brilliantly, it sure did on Tanks. Released for holiday season, no word on price, but no matter what it sells for, it should be budget orrientated in a short while, either in store or used. I believe I'll pick this baby up, some nice old school game play on the Wii, should be extra fun on multiplayer.

Kuju did a great job on the original Battalion Wars, I guess I'll give them some more business on this game and BWii as well.
