I will say this.  Pac n Roll for the DS is highly underrated and is a great game.  So the fact they are including a new one in this collection is awesome.  I wish that they would just cancel the other 4 games and try to make the best Pac N Roll game possible for the wii.

Yeah, I have high hopes for this game. There's some really great potential here.

I assume that no one is discussing the Galaga remix because the very idea of it overloaded with joy and then killed the part of your brain that recorded those words.

Between this, Metroid Prime 3, SSBB, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, RE4 (I somehow missed it on PS2 and GC), and Sonic vs. Mario Olympics, I already know I'm asking for a Wii for Christmas.

"I hope no one is discussing the GALAGA remix..."

AGREED! Having enjoyed Pac Man remix on my GBA PM collection, I was really looking forward to the galaga and Dig Dug remixes on the PS2 disc. God, what an awful dissapointment they were! The sound was about 100 octaves lower than the normal games and the sprites were tiny, the play miserable. Galaga '90 was a FAR better game than REMIX, and even the bland Dig Dug 2 was better than THAT remix! How they scored with PMR and botched the others is beyond me...

Santa will never be able to pull all of that down the chimney, Koopa.

This could be a good game, hopefully they keep an arcade fun feel to it. It's better than just straight ports of the old games, how many compilations does a guy need? I think the fact that they all seem to be multiplayer is a good sign.

On the other hand, there was an Atari Remix for DS and I have never played it, but it recieved pretty bad reviews.

Pacman remix is easily the weakest of the remixes (and that's not an insult toward it).  Galaga Remix is awesome and the Dig Dug remix is awesome.  Of ocurse, other people dislike Dig Dug: Digging Strike, and here I am still chasing the medals in that months and months after buying it.

What upsets me is the fact that Namco keeps releasing "Namco Museum" for every console that comes along, but they almost always include the same old games that where included on countless pervious editions of the game.

Although there's some new material on this WII edition, I'm still not interested.

Why don't they worry about releasing titles that appeared on "Encore" and rare editions of the PSone Namco Museum series, instead of selling us Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, and Galaga for the millionth time??

Namco really does put the "M" in MILK when it comes to how they utilize this 'museum' franchise.  There has to be about 9 dozen different variations of the Namco Museum, and all seem to contain more or less the same 16 or so games in various re-packagings.  They're taking a page out of Sony's book when it comes to squeezing their fans for every possible nickel.
