[QUOTE=Shawn]I might give rocket slime a chance, that looks pretty good and I liked the review somebody put up on this site...sounds interesting. I am just surprised by the amount of crap on the DS right now. I can see why it is so successful...most of the games are geared to kids! No offense to the kids on this site. Still happy with my purchase but I dont' think it will replace my psp for too long.
I saw Metroid Pinball for $20...anybody else play this? The VGC gave it a high score but I am skeptical.....he tends to give arcade type games inflated scores.

Dude, there are no kids here. I'm 14, and I'm the youngest dude here. DS rocks! Get Castlevania: DoS, best game on the DS.

I have been terribly addicted to the "touch" Tetris game in Tetris DS for months now. Awesome game. My wife has played online at least once a day for the las few months, it seems.

Tetris DS was spoiled for me with the 'added feature' of being able to spin your piece forever when it lands. To me it ruined the game, even when I did not want to use it, I inevitably did. I don't mind extra features in Tetris provided you let me turn them off. Plus, when you play singlecard multiplayer, it gives the shadow under the piece of the download player which you also can't switch off.
Tetris is constantly getting reinvented, but never in the right areas. Keep the original game, add a hard drop, an inventive score system with a leader board, and add a ton of high quality music. Just my take, you know how whiny I am.

Shawn,
I appears that you're finally past the "denial" stage. By the way, I was hanging out with Sony last night, and accidentally mentioned you got a DS. Sony was PISSED!!!

Are you into rhythm games? Get Elite Beat Agents. It may seem really weird and stupid, but PLEASE play it before you make opinions. I personally like the Ouendan franchise better, but not everyone would want to pay the extra money to import it (I thought it was worth it though!)

If you like FPS and being a Sony fan I'm assuming you do....go for Metroid Prime Hunters. The Critic said it was OK, but others thought it was awesome.

I picked up Sonic Rush for $15 new at Ebgames today. Good game, I am having fun with it. I like the DS lite but is it just me or is the directional pad and the buttons too small? It is a huge negative b/c overall I really like the design of the ds lite (much better then the first). I also picked up Scurge for $10 but haven't given it a go yet.
Somebody suggested Metroid Prime Hunters and to be honest, I wasn't impressed with it at all. That was probablly the last game I played when I owned my ds last year.
So far I like the DS but after going through the games at gamestop I am not sure where all the amazing and innovative games are....all I saw were movie and tv show tie-ins. Don't get me wrong, I am glad I bought it but I hope some better games (that I enjoy and not a 10 year old) come out for it soon.
Time to look at the GBA library too I guess.

You should give Contact a chance. It's a cool RPG from the makers of Killer 7.

Whoops, my bad....thats out on PSP!!
Seriously, yes there is a ton of DS liscensed trash. But, c'mon, you can wade through that and get to the good fruit, I reckon.

Shawn, definitely pick up Metroid Prime Pinball. It is the best system pinball game I've ever played. I even like it more than Virtual Pinball on the Virtual Boy. You should check Gamestop, though. I saw it for $10 used in there, so unless you're opposed to buying used games I'd save the 10 bucks. It makes less of a difference buying used DS games anyway since they can't get scratched.
