Informal poll: what is the best/worst adult Animated Show?

I lost interest in The Simpsons awhile ago and have not kept up with South Park(though I like it).

The main reason I am writing this is I wanted to know if anyone else here has seen THE BOONDOCKS on Cartoon Networks' Adult Swim? I do not have cable, but I LOVED THE BOONDOCKS Comic Strip, I have every BOONDOCKS book and treasury. It's written from a Black revolutionary perspective but is Soooo funny and honest and TRUE! So when I saw the "First season" animated Boondock DVD set I grabbed it for $40.00 .... and sat down and watched the first two episodes....

OH....MY.....GODDDDDD!!!!!

NEVER have I been so offended by an animated show! The first show, "The garden party" opens with Grandpa doing Aerobics STARK NAKED!!!! His bat and balls are flopping all over, dudes! I DID NOT NEED TO SEE THIS!!!!! And he has two young grandchildren in the house!? He couldn't do it in his underwear!? Then the constant Profanity "F***ing N***er" heard constantly, young riley shoots an actual shotgun right at a guy sending him flying out the window-surely the second episode, "The trial of R Kelly" would not be as bad....THE GUY GETS OFF SCOTT FREE SAYING IT'S OKAY TO PEE ON A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL....I can't go on. How could they trash this supremely witty and fun comic strip like this!?
I'm trading this set in for something nicer like a XXXX porno video or some supremely violent war flick!

*phew*...sorry, hadda get that off my chest....anyway, as Raunchy as some say FAMILY GUY is it remains my favorite. I kinda ignore the dirty parts and intently watch Stewie(the maniacal baby) and Brian (the super smart booze-hound), it makes me laugh. There are no morals like South Park, but it's FUNNY! So thats my pick.

This is an easy answer...Ren and Stimpy.

Ren and Stimpy was a cartoon for adults...thinly veiled as a kids show.  It was well ahead of its time.  If you go back to the very first season (the ones that John K. did before Nickelodeon fired him) you will see all the crazy adult humor. 

While the show had tons of burp and farting jokes it was also a work of art.  Cartoons now just aren't animated in the way that Ren and Stimpy were.  Ren and Stimpy was modeled after the old cartoons from the 40s and 50s.  Spumco (the studio that made R & S) never reused scenes or expressions.  They say that John K was such a perfectionist that it was almost impossible to work there.  The hard work payed off and Ren and Stimpy was one of most beautiful cartoons ever made.  Who can forget those insane gross out close ups?  Its was disgusting, but beautiful at the same time. 

Sadly Nick took over the show and eventually ruined it...there are rumors that the show will make another comeback with straight to dvd episodes.

My favorite adult show would be south park. It's not quite as good as before, but it's still going strong!

The Simpsons is the best. SP and FG are good, and I like Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Morel Orel, but the Simpsons (no matter how much some people hate the new episodes, I still like them. But yes, older is better.) is the best cartoon ever.

Anyone seen the screens/ read about The Simpsons Game for X360. This looks fantastic! THe old-school graphics style (looks JUST like the 'toom) is a breath of fresh air on Xbox 360, and I am probably preordering this next time I'm at Gamestop or EB.
