Just curious Shawn, but have you ever played a party game with a bunch of people? Like 4-8 people and not just gaming males...but females and people that don't normally game?

The games are FUN, under the right conditions. Do I play Warioware and Raving Rabbids every single day? Nah. How bout once a week? Probably not. Yet when I have a group of friends over those are the games they want to play. Throw in some alcoholic beverages and presto...everyone is laughing and having a blast. They are even better on the Wii, because watching people make a complete an utter ass of themselves is part of the fun. Everybody has different poses and positions for playing Wii games and its frickin hilarious. Thats why people enjoy playing these games. They are just plain fun.

Its like DDR, Karaoke Revolution and Guitar Hero. Those games are fun to get to play alone and get high scores. Yet they are made 100x better when you have a group of people to play with.

Yep, I agree completely. I've got a buddy that bought a PS2 and Guitar Hero 1 and 2 so he could invite his neighbors over and jump around like an idiot.

Hell, I bought 3 sets of maracas to ensure I'd have the right setup to look like a fool playing the Japan only sequel to Samba De Amigo. Ahh, good times. hmm, maybe I need to have another vid party and cookout. Way better times than the usual poker/cookout.

You are funny fever! Seriously, I am busting up right now. You should put your notice in at work today and take your act on the road. I love party games. I love the Wii. He says something that he knows people can't help but disagree with, right after just doing the same thing, and in the same post where he does it the second time he says "take it easy guys, I'm just kidding". Who do you think Shawn is to actually be able to make a joke with that kind of set up? Rodney Dangerfield?

Hey Actraiser, the game Actraiser is stupid and if you like it you're a silly fanboy without a valid opinion. You just love anything from the SNES indiscriminately and can't actually be judging the game on it's merits. Then perhaps I shouldn't say anything because I'm in the land of the SNES morons.
