I'm going to say one final thing about Shawn and then it is bon voyage, farewell Shawn. After this post I vow to NEVER acknowledge him again, regardless of how stupid or short-sighted his comment is. All the moron comments on are the Nintendo topics and maybe, once in a great moon, the Sony topics but only if somebody is bashing them! He calls the sight the "Land of the Wii Lovers" but yet he is such a whore for a company that, for the past two generations has FARRRRR outsold anything Nintendo has put out! Shawn, I could find a MILLION things to rip Sony apart about but I'm not going to waste my time anymore! You want to plunk down $600 for a DOA format with a couple of decent games and a whole lot of CRAP then be my friggin' guest but how can you come down on people who paid a fraction of the money that YOU paid for your SoC(system of choice!!), are ENJOYING the mini-games, the VC games, and have no complaints about the system they bought with their own stash of nickels and dimes! To hell with it, I'm not going to write another diatribe against this pathetic guy anymore. How long have you thrown the tired "mini-game" argument around? The "Nintendo sucks, land of the Nintendo lovers, blah blah blah" arguments? You think this sight sucks and everybody on it then simply form the Sony Entertainment Critic sight and dictate it as you please! Shawn, here's your chance to attack as you please because I am not going to respond anymore. You're obviously some bored little rugrat who is out of school for the summer, in between mowing jobs and looking to kill some time...what better way to do it than to try raising the roof, eh? Don't worry, we've all been there...when we were friggin' eleven! I have a suggestion for you: take the summer off, enjoy yourself, and come back here on August 25th with a topic of your own..."How I Spent My Summer Vacation." I'll be more than happy to read it and grade you on it! Now go along, little boy, enjoy your youth while you still have it!

okay, folks, here's a thought, compare the IP addresses of the two Shawns that post to everyone else that's posted under different names.  2 to 1 you'll find a match to another user.  SSX possibly...just saying.

Everyone gets so worked up by someone that's intentionally stoking the fires and some of you guys are so blinded you have to automatically reply.

Admins, do some due diligience please.

Thanks much,

Well, I finally played Mario Party Wii, and I got to say, graphics and wimote controls are the least of this games problems....

I found the boards to be pretty boring and the pacing to be just plain S-L-O-W!

The minigames are o.k., but it takes forever to get to them. My wife bought it for us, and she wasn't too impressed either, looks like an Ebayer.

We happened to hit the used games store later that day, so I salvaged some fun by picking up Rocky and Shrek Super Slam for GC. They are both pretty competent, actually. I bought Shrek for the wife and expected very little, but it isn't a bad little 3-d brawler. The charachters are a lot of fun, so that gave it some charm. Nice destructable environments, and decent weapons.

Rocky is very funny, nice boxing engine, and punches really "land" nice. Most of the trainig games are tough, I ussually have to autotrain or Rocky just as well stay in bed that day! Lol at the in game story cinemas (why not use the FMVs they put in for bonuses?), the taunts, and Mickey's voice acting. I have a 1/2 a dozen friends who can do a better "Mickey" than that!

Spider Rico for the title!

"You got real lucky tonight, ya know?"

Can't wait to show this one to some friends who are big fans of the movies.

Good call on Rocky. That's a very underrated boxing game, and a personal favorite. It's the "anti-Fight Night" (and I like Fight Night!) in terms of simplicity, yet doesn't get too watered down.

I especially like how the music fades in right before you or your opponent get knocked out. Terrific!

I played Mario Party 8, and it really was just more of the same. Some of the mini-games were fun, but I just found it too boring. Plus, it only uses the Wii remote, and I really think it should have gone with the nunchuk combo like Rayman Raving Rabbids.

Hey I just bought Rocky a little while ago and I really like it.  I've always been a fan of more arcade style boxing games and this is certainly a gem.  It sort of reminds me of Ready 2 Rumble Boxing except it has the Rocky movie license.

My question is this...has anyone played the sequel, Rocky Legends?  If so how does it stack up against the orginal Rocky title?  I'm really interested in picking it up, but I want to know if its worth the upgrade...
