You don't have a GS or EB nearby? 90$ used is the price they sell them for.
EB haven't existed in this country for years and GS never had. I think to replace one would have cost sixty to eighty pounds (a hundred and twenty to a hundred and sixty dollars) depending on whether it was new or not. It was a hundred pounds for a second hand one just two years ago I know. (On the plus side, games here seem to be cheaper).

It is much more apealing to buy on the internet and avoid the VAT. Of course I am not going to go thrpugh this hassle again. I will simply have to spend a bit more and buy one in a shop now to save myself the hasle.

Oh, Ian, please don't kill again! Haven't you already destroyed enough innocent videogame sprites in your day? All those bloody corpses and twisted metal you've left behind....

I sympathize with not having accsess to GS or EB. I have no car and there are none within 50 miles of me. Only one small video store with high price$ and wally mart.

What kind of back trouble do you have? I have three disintegrating verterbrae (T-1,2 and 3...T-2 is the worst), but with the right meds I am able to go hiking and shopping and carry stuff in a loaded backpack. Of course in my case it is inoperable/ ireversable, so I'm just trying to do as much as I can while I can. Is yours Osteoporosis related? Sorry if I'm nosey, just being curiously nosey here. (Actually I'm hoping they can put an ADMATIUM skeleton in me when it goes completely! I want the full set, with the retractable claws!)

I assume you are in the UK, try Gamestation.  I bought a ps2 there and it did not work so I took it back the following day and they gave me another one.  I got my colecovision off ebay and it is bust, I bought 2 Atrari 7800s off it and they do not work particularly well.... I have not bought anything off it in months but I will be selling my colecovision games....on it..

It seems to be hereditary seeing as I come from a whole family of people with back trouble. It is extremely frustrating because before it really flared up I was quite strong physically. I can still walk for long distances and the like, but carrying stuff is a no no. Sometimes I justdo of course but I end up regretting it.

Anyway this case has taken an interesting turn because the seller seems to have switched to a new silly game. She has backed down and offered me a refund but is asking for the object to be sent back when it already is. Not a problem because I have all the tracking information however she has provided an address for sending back which is different from the one it was sent to (which I know is correct because she received it) and I am sure she will make trouble because of this. I will have to think about what to do here.

And astrosmasher, I will be buying my new PS2 from Gamestation. It may be more expensive, but I have learnt my lesson about this.

Well that is me got my money back already. I am glad it is dealt with. Pity my previously unblemished ebay feedback has a nasty negative on it now. Never mind
