The Video Game Critic

I know that it is not a good idea to leave the adaptors of classic game systems plugged in all the time due to overheating- and it IS ok to leave the pure AC plugs on PS2/Xbox plugged in.

My question is what about Intellivision? To my knowladge it is the only "golden age" system with a hard wired, straight AC electric plug! Is it ok to leave IT plugged in? OR...is the "adaptor" inside the INTV system itself? Very curious on this!

Pure ac plugs? I don't know what you mean by that. You mean a internal power supply? Its no different than having it on the power cord, its just internal. They're built to be left plugged in just like a SNES ac adapter or anything else. I don't since I worry about power surges and they can go months in between being used. Same with the Intellivision and Intellivision 3, the Iintellivision 2's isn't built in.
