Getting original games instead of VC

Yeah, but the VC only offers 4 different game libraries, NES- SNES- GENESIS -TG16. You still have to go the system route (unless you like emulators) to play 2600, 5200, 7800, O2, Intellivision, Master System, etc.... games!

Nope... it's five.  You forgot the N64.

And, it's growing all the time   NeoGeo is already offered in Japan, and is going to be offered in the States in the Fall.

TG 16 games are a steal at 6 bucks a pop. you can barely find a copy of keith courage at that price
