Kirby's "career"
Kirby's Canvas Curse(DS) is a borderline "killer app" for the DS. Your comments on the Kirby's Air Ride(GC) review, about Kirby being a washed-up drug addict seem irrevelent and out-of-touch because of Kirby Canvas Curse's greatness.

i HATED the pinball game and the GBA platform game
(I traded it for an older GBC game). I never
played the early NES/SNES kirby though...
But I will never forgive the pink %^$# for
KITBYS TILT N' TUMBLE which was the
"inspiration" for one of my most hated GBA
games , warioware:twisted (see the other forum
for rants on THAT!)
But ok, he's cute and hey, wouldn't it be
great if Mario could suck in HIS enemies
(maybe he does...that would explain the stomach..)

Kirby's "career"
I'm not a fan of Kirby himself at all, but Kirby's Canvas Curse is a "A" game. It has alot of the gameplay elements of Yoshi Touch&Go. But the level design is alot like first 3 Sonic games for Genesis, where you can either speed through a level or take your time and explore it. I honestly think that Sonic would be a more fitting character for the game, since Kirby is always in a ball and can jet up and down hills. The game is also one of those "built to last" games, where the more you play, the more surpises reveal themselves, be it worthwhile unlockables, more gameplay modes, or different ways you can approach the levels.
Alienblue, there's something I realized about the DS, as to why it's been such a love-affair with me. In my younger days, I was really into drawing and painting art, and playing games like Yoshi Touch&Go and Kirby's Canvas Curse gives me a similar electric vibe that I got drawing/painting. I'll be curious if you experience similar emotions.

The crystal shards for the N64 was a great game.

and have sold many cartoons, painting and do design work and
teach art class. So yes, the stylus drawing aspect of DS
really appeals to me (I hope they come out with a drawing
program that lets you save your work).
ahem... we now return you to the regularly scheduled thread.

VGC, you should also check out "Kirby's Dream Course" for SNES. It's basically a mini-putt game, but you have to use a lot more strategy if you want to ace a hole.
It's one of my most-played SNES games.

and anyways, I would want to upgrade a stylus, not downgrade to tiny screens, that's what killed it for me. and also the idiots should have made one larger touch screen instead of 2 small ones, so that you can actually draw something.
Nintendo: "here's our latest flimsy turd, you will love it or die, fanboys! "
fanboys: "you are GOD"
arrogant a-holes. 5 more years.

You would think nintendo would have fewer fan boys being third place and all. We understand you don't like nintendo and well....no one cares. They might care if you had two brain cells to rub together but since you clearly don't no one cares.
