Custom Robo

I had my first true console gaming marathon session yesterday. I turned on my Cube for the FIRST TIME IN 2007(!), and popped in Custom Robo, which I bought in January and never cared about enough to turn on the ol' N-square. It was soooo addictive! I started at approx. 9:AM yesterday, and defeated Rahu II (the final boss) at around 11M. This is one of the best games I ever played!

BTW, I played SSBM today, and I can't believe I used to love that game.

I love how the forum interpreter converted your 11(colon)pm into a smiley face sticking it's tongue out!  You know, that's exactly the sort of thing that's gonna start W.W. III...

I'm glad you liked this game, but I think this title was really bad for a few reasons (and I beat the game too)

You have to play the long-a$$ single player mode to unlock the stuff (and cool modes) that makes your robo customizable. What is the point? This is supposed to be a build your own robot kind of game, but in the beginning, you don't have many options at all. This kills the multi-player fun right out of the box.

The story is way lame too. If the game came out of the box with about 80% of the items unlockable, then yeah... I'd give it a thumbs up. Sadly, my friends lost interest after about an hour with this one b/c of the lack of options.
