[Quiet Flight]

Just curious as to what your favorite shoot 'em ups are. I'll list my top 5 for various systems that I own. List yours or recommend some.

Saturn: (really wish I had Radiant Silvergun or Hyper Duel)

Turbo Duo ( would like to try Blazing Lazers)

Didn't we just DO this? This must be the SHOOTER SITE as often as I see shooting games mentioned. Anyhoo:

1. Raiden project for PSone
2. The Darius series, 1,2 and 3 are all great.
3. The Thunderforce series
4. Bio Hazzard Battle
5. Fire Shark

Notice the number of Genesis games there! (I never had a TG 16)
...I also like classic shooters like Vanguard, Scramble, Space Invader type games (Phoienex, Galaga) and Asteroid type games (Asteroids, Space fury) AND Defender type games (Defender, Space Odyssey)...lots of good od time shootin' fun thar!

I have a whole bunch of good shooters on my Saturn, particularly Radiant Silvergun. Apart from that my best shooters are Ikaruga on the Gamecube and Soldier Blade on the PC Engine. I would go in in more detail but I can't spell a lot of the Japanese names.
