No pics

I mentioned this before but it's driving me (more) buggy...

With my current browser, ALL of the game screenshots on your site will load EXCEPT for Atari ones(2600,5200,XE,7800)....WHY!? Every other system, I can see the pictures, including Odyssey2 and the latest Wii,X360 and PS3 ones! I hoped to see the screen shots on "pressure Gauge" in the reviews forum, but -NOPE! Just x's. Is it a special ATARI format?

And yes, I do have another browser (the one I'm using now is Internet explorer 4.5), but while it WILL load the atari screens it is older and sllllow! We are talking 3 minutes to load the site versus 3 seconds on THIS browser-so you can see why I use it. But anyway, ok, I know I can't but can someone answer WHY just the atari ones won't come up? Does iMac hate Atari?

First of all, its worth mentioning that wasn't one of the Critic's reviews. He did the pictures wrong that he put in his review for Pressure Gauge, they're all red X's for everyone I bet.

It appears your browser you prefer to use doesn't like jpegs, or your computer is screwed up. I think most of the other screenshots are GIFs.

And you should update Internet Explorer. Isn't 4.5 from 1997 or 1998?

The vast majority of PC's are Windows based, so compatibility problems happen sometimes when you're using a Mac. Not sure if this is one of those cases, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Actually, there appears to be a mix of JPEG, GIF's, and PNG screenshots. I suspect you have a issue with one of them.

It sounds like the .png format is your problem. I got those images from Atari Age. Can you see the screen shots on Atari Age?

VGC...that's the weird thing, on ATARIPROTOS and ATARTITIMES I CAN see the pics. Atariage, in it's reviews, has links to different sites. Some I can see, some I cannot. Obviously on the links here I cannot. I am not up on mordern com pew ter technology (though i can write games in Ataribasic! ( : )
so I dunno what jpg and all the formats stand for. At first I thought my old imac was running out of memory, but that doesn't explain why I can't see Atari 2600 screens, but I CAN see, quite clearly, the new dreamcast pictures(the shooters look heavely- did I meantion I wanted a Dreamcast and six shooters too

it could NOT just be imac, because there WAS a time when the atari pics would load on this browser, it just stopped about 5-6 months back. I think it's getting old, and in old age it is an Atari racist! Dang old curmudgeon computers!
