Hey guys, I know I've been saying that Wii third party support is going to be tremendous, but WOW!!!!! This announcement from IGN has me convinced that Wii will be the best third party system EVER!!!! YES!!! Just look at all the surefire greatness in this article:

http://wii.ign.com/articles/799/799869p1.html

I mean, I am really looking forward to all of these games. Look out Nintendo- you might want to buy these guys up, move em' to Kyoto, and have em' replace Aonuma's Zelda team. Just a tour de force of game development, these guys are.

I'm not buying Metroid Prime 3, Smash Bros, Galaxy, or even Umbrella Chronicles, all because of these games. They are indeed super high priority now. I might even sell my Xbox 360 just to make sure I can afford them.

"Rock 'N' Roll Adventures: Elviz - Play as Elviz in this musical platformer over drum kits, records, piano keys, and amplifiers. Swing the Wiimote to attack and enter targeting mode to point and shoot instruments gone haywire."

Hahahahahahahaha! Elviz!

Gee, umm I love non-complicated arcade games but people are going to want games Wii games with more depth not to mention most games look hideous. I mean these titles look awful and the premise of these games is not intriguing at all.

Well, I can't see the site -- IGN is blocked at work, though I think it is due to their advertising structure more so than their content (i.e. similar sites are not blocked at all).

But I can't imagine a team making minigames replacing Anouma's Zelda team -- I think that would push me over the edge against Nintendo.  I also can't think of any development that would make me want to skip on Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Galaxy, Umbrella Chronicles, and sell my XBOX 360.

I am sure they are making great and fun games, but I still want more than just simple games in my library.  What would I do without my Zelda, Metroid, and survival horror?

Call me dumb, but are these for real?

This came off as satire to me.  It's real?

I tried to make it obvious, but sarcasm is tricky to do without emoticons that give it away, so I'll quickly mention that I was obviously making a joke here. That collection of budget games looks pretty craptastic.

Now that I am home and can see the site, the sarcasm is more obvious.

I like the Anubis II one best -- just the look of that iddy biddy Anubis is comical.

Call me crazy, but I'd buy Ninja Bread Man.  The name alone is worth at least $10 of the price.

But yeah, these look pretty, um, Java-ish.
