Thanx Koopa, Is Saphire GBA or DS? They had just about every POKEMON GBA game in the ones I tested, including an animated cartoon. Has anyone here bought/rented/watched those GBA "movies" on cart? I watched a LITTLE Rugrats, the animation is amazing for GBA. My girlfreind used to be into the Pokemon cartoon (pikache is sooo cute!) ...I just like the challenge.

I take it strategy guides are available?
1) Sapphire and Ruby and Emerald and Fire Red and Leaf Green are on GBA (I have all of these, and Emerald is the best for you probably.). Diamond and Pearl (I gotta pick-achu these up soon) are on DS.
2) The cartoon is good. I think I have all the GBA Pokemon Volumes, and Shark Tale on the GBA Video.
3) Yes. Guides for Ruby/Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed/LeafGreen, and Diamond/Pearl are all avalible and very common.

Alienblue, note the fact that all verisons are the same as the blue verisons with fancy graphics. There is little difference between the Sapphire, ruby and emerald verisons and the firered and leafgreen verisons, and diamond and pearl look like the firered and leafgreen verisons with 3D graphics and touch screen functionality.

I would also like to mention that I hate the new pokemon. The only good ones are #1-151, the pokemon that appeared in the GB pokemon games.

Also note the fact that all FPS games are the same as Doom with fancier graphics.

Note the fact that those games changed as technology changed, which pokemon hasn't done since the GBA launch. (Both handheld and console)

Has anyone played the GBA Pokemon Ruby/Saphire ones? I can get them for 9 bucks, but I'm debating..I like quick games now like MARIOKART, don't have hours anymore. Can you still save? Are they as fun as the first one?
Definitely get them for 9 bucks! I just found and sold a copy of Pokemon Saphire for $17 (sorry, I can't tell you whether or not it's fun though).

Dude, seriously. Breeding? Abilities? The revamped physical/special-system where move type rather than move element determines which stat attack power is based on? All massive changes to the gameplay.

I was just trying to make a point. FFVII is my favorite RPG of all-time, and also the first RPG I ever played.

As for Ruby/Sapphire, thy are great fun, although I'd recommend Emerald over those if you can get your hands on it.
