Interesting article on upcoming title launches for the PS3... what I found *really* interesting is the caveat that 180 of those games will be available only over the internet vice sold in retail stores.  More proof that the ultimate goal of console makers is to make people reliant upon the internet to download games and content, so that they can turn around and nickel-and-dime their customers with charges and fees while continuing to charge the same price for their games even as their own costs plummet (from not having to print and ship games to retail outlets).

I'm not saying making games and content available over the internet is a bad thing, but I think making stuff available ONLY over the internet is a tell-tale sign of where the industry would like to go.
