I was at a mini-golf place on the outside of town about a year ago and they had a sit-in style Jurassic Park light gun game. The graphics were probably about Saturn quality, but the game was totally over the top and a real blast to play. I would have spent $20 to play to the end if we weren't in the process of packing up to leave when I sat down to play. It was so much fun I seriously want to buy one someday and put it in my garage. It was a total blast. The T-Rex boss I finished on was totally sweet, even with the low poly-count graphics.

State of the Arcade?
Paul C: I saw the exact same Jurassic Park game myself in an arcade years ago, I agree, it was AWESOME! But the one I'm talking about, while still a "gun" game is not the same one. It is JURRASIC PARK THREE. Maybe PS2 quality graphics. It is a stand up cabinet with two guns. The game starts with 3 guys parachuting in and a voice "This is grant, the missing person has been spotted to your west, use caution!" ...It is an FPS. The screen pans automatically and dinos pop out; you must shoot them- you have six shots and fire UP to reload. Eventually you reach the survivor. Second stage you try to get to the base. Third screen The SPINOSAUR is attacking; you have left-right run buttons to dodge, because it takes a LOT of shots. How many I don't know because I hadda stop playing there (my ride was waiting for me- I'd love to have finished it!)

State of the Arcade?
The Lost World game that you guys are referring to certainly looked like a lot of fun with its two light guns. It's a crime that Sega never brought that over to the Dreamcast! It seems to me that there are still a lot of old arcade games ripe for console compilation disks.
